2012 Bluegrass Games Notice of Race Revised
RULES AND GUIDELINES:
The Regatta will be open to one design, cruiser and racer/cruisers. Participants may enter the race by completing the entry form and being assigned a PHRF handicap number for their boat to determine class (Jam A, Jam B, or Spinnaker). Registration forms will be available online at bgsg.org and prior to the Skippers Meeting on race day.
This
will be a one way race and those continuing on to the raft-up should provision accordingly. Bring good food
and drink to share. The medal ceremony will be held at the raft-up at the Blues
Festival where
medals of gold, silver, and bronze will
be awarded in each class.
There will be an alternate medal
ceremony on the deck of Lighthouse Landing at 5 PM for those not wishing to
attend the Blues Festival.
The schedule for August 25th is as follows:
Registration: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Skippers Meeting: 9:00 AM
Race start: 10:00 AM
Arrive at Raft-up 5:00 PM
(Dinner)
