2012 SFH Results J/22

The Sailing for Hope Regatta is also a fundraising opportunity for the boat or team to get support and pledges for the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Early registration is encouraged so that your personal fundraiser website can be made available.

On May 18-20, 2012, St. Jude supporters in the Kentucky Lake and surrounding area will join together with the Kentucky Lake Sailing Club to raise money and awareness for the children of St. Jude. The Sailing Hope for Hope Regatta will be held on Kentucky Lake at Lighthouse Landing Marina in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. The pre-regatta late registration will be held at the meeting room at Lighthouse Landing Marina beginning at 5:00PM with a social to be held Friday night (5/18/12) on the beach at LHL, and the awards dinner on Saturday night (5/19/12) after the race. The one-design fleet will also be racing on Sunday with awards to be given at LHL meeting room on Sunday (5/20/12) following the races.

We also would like to extend a warm welcome to J/22 South East Circuit and all of their sailors racing in the one-design races on Saturday and Sunday. We are happy to have them as a part of Sailing for Hope events and for their support of St. Jude. Welcome aboard!!

Captains registration includes dinner for one (1) and a T-Shirt.

Dinner for everyone else is $ 15.00 and T-Shirts are $12.00
Once you have registered online at KLSC you will receive an email with instructions on where to find your St. Jude fundraising site, with login information and helpful information.

Information and more details at the Sailing for Hope Website. If you cannot sail, you can still help the kids at St. Jude by helping joining the Sailing for Hope crew! This year we are giving all sailors the opportunity to support this worthy cause by signing up on the St. Jude event web site http://tinyurl.com/sailingforhope2012 and setting up your fund raising team. It costs you nothing to sign up just a little bit of your time and a willingness to send out a few emails to friends and family urging them to support this worthy cause.

IT"S FREE AND EASY TO HELP THE KIDS!

You can fund raise for the kids at St. Jude today! No matter where you are, whether you are racing or not, whether you can attend the Sailing for Hope Regatta to benefit St.Jude Children's Research Hospital or not. IT'S FREE and IT'S EASY!!

All you have to do is click the GET STARTED button below and you will be taken to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital website, and there is a tab just below the words 2012 Sailing for Hope Regatta that says "Sign up for this event". Once you click that button just fill out the information and you are taken to your own custom fundraising center, where you can upload your own picture, write a custom message, and then you can enter the email addresses ofpeople you know, and then with just a few clicks send them all a message from your communications center and ask them to help you raise money for the Sailing for Hope event.

It is really easy and you can help up reach our goal for 2012, and have fun doing it! THERE IS ONLY THREE WEEKS LEFT AND WE NEED EVERYONE'S HELP!!
